Description

This is an original pair of WW2 Pegasus Parachute regiment cloth formation patch badges. They are cut out direct from the Para's (Roy Wells) war uniform and includes two original photos of the Roy during the war in his uniform with one of these badges clearly visible in the photo of him sitting down. Finally, is a modern day letter written by Roy giving a very brief account of his war service: he signed up in 1942 and began training in Canterbury before joining the 4th Battalion, Buffs regiment. However, after constantly getting in trouble and getting into an altercation with an officer he volunteered for transfer to the Paras! The Left and Right badges, the two original photographs and the letter are all included in this lot. Postage: £2.00.
