The Perth Regiment was an infantry regiment of the Canadian Army. Originally founded in 1866 as the 28th Perth Battalion of Infantry the regiment went through several name changes including: 1900 - 28th Perth Regiment; 1920 - The Perth Regiment; 1936 - The Perth Regiment (M.G.); 1941 - The Perth Regiment (Motor); and returned to its present title in 1946.
