Guaranteed original. The bayonet itself is in very good condition for its age but there is a small rust patch near the hilt. The metal scabbard has a number of scratches, but the leather is in great condition. Please see photos for more information.

An original WW2 Heer K-98 Dress Bayonet by WKC, the blade is nickel plated with the makers mark “Knights Helmet” and “WKC” for the manufacturer logo of WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie.) in Solingen on the ricasso. The handle has a bakelite grip with a nice nickel finish on the guard and pommel. Has the original NCO'S portepee.
