Machine Gun Corps MGC WW1 Machine Gun Corps MGC Soldiers Service Certificate & Large Framed Photo - UK POSTAGE ONLY

This is an original group of framed WW1 photos and a certificate relating to 88788 PTE A. E. DOUGLASS, Machine Gun Corps MGC. Included is his original MGC service certificate "A TOKEN THAT HE SERVED HIS KING AND COUNTRY AS A SOLDIER IN THE MACHINE GUN CORPS DURING THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR". As well as a very large framed photograph of him in his MGC uniform with a MGC shoulder title and buttons visible. Also included is a similar framed photograph of his wife. You can imagine all 3 items hanging proudly in his living after the war. This is a very rare lot of items relating to the MGC. The certificate in particular is very scarce. All 3 would look excellent on the wall of any WW1 collectors office / study / library / museum.

There is some damage to the frames comensurate with age. The large frame with the photo of A Douglass measures about 53cm x 43cm, the frame of his wife measures about 50cm x 42cm and the frame of his certificate measures 33cm x 25cm.
